What's the true nature of Buddhism involving in politics??

What's the true nature of Buddhism involving in politics?? Citing the example of Soka's forming Komeito Party in the Japanese politics.

Komeito in Japan politics is formed by Soka Buddhist organization meaning "Clean Government Party" to combat corruption in mainly the Liberal Democratic Party's LDP Government. It started as main opposition party in the Japanese Diet or Parliament House but now serves as a ruling coalition partner of LDP. Is Komeito defeating its original purpose to combat LDP's corruption? They claim they still are monitoring LDP with checks and balances, as now have almost agreed and accepted LDP's all constitutional proposals, including accepting Japanese Self Defense Force to set foot in foreign lands for military engagements, such unpopular policy can be accepted!!

But is Komeito and its founding mother organization Soka really do the right thing for Buddhists and the Japanese people? Soka claim they are in separation with Komeito and do not interfere Komeito's political activities, yet Komeito has not once approached the United Nations to promote world peace, it is always Soka's Head writing its peace proposals to the UN every year. It was also not Komeito duty to tie in friendly relations with USA but they seem to care China and Russia's relations with Japan. It is always Soka involving in USA!!! Relation with other nations has always been Soka leaders doing all the peaceful work and not Komeito. What's Komeito really up to??

Think perhaps the main reason why Komeito wishes to partner LDP in Government, so to lift up the status of Soka organizations in local society!! As previously Komeito in the opposition side they engaged relation with China and Russia, many Japanese people hated Soka as maybe a Pro-Communist Buddhist organization. Now Soka and Komeito wish to change so to become more popular with Japanese people. Also previously Soka can fight for injustice of Government, as the global membership has expanded so is very wealthy enough but after the conflicts and separation with Nichiren Shoshu priests, for one time they became poorer in funding, so they maybe hoping coalition with LDP Government can help to resolve their finances, it seems all along what Soka is concerning about their self-interests, how to get more funds to finance their globally gigantic activities!! Where are the concerns for world peace and global citizenship??

Also will such coalition and partnership with LDP causing corruption within Komeito and probably even in Soka?? Since so much funds in transactions?? Time will tell as they still think they come "clean"!!
