Why Buddhism cannot be a World Religion?

Why Buddhism cannot be a World Religion? Are Soka and Nichiren Shoshu correct in their own perspectives to propagate Buddhism??

Actually Soka and Nichiren Shoshu are the same except one is led by lay believers and the other led by priests. But is it correct to hold on a very gigantic organization with members practicing together?? Probably the most disadvantage is the cost and how much funds to organize activities? Then with so much donations and funds center in each organization's headquarters office, naturally bound to have corruptions taking place, defeating chief purpose to erase devilish functions and attain enlightenment. Feel Buddhist practices should be as simple as possible, living and surviving as simple as possible so that you can concentrate your minds towards the ultimate goal!! Not building large temples which can contain a hundred elephants and decorated with golden ornaments to showoff the wealth of the Buddhist organization. Feel these money can best assist the poor!!

But why today Buddhism cannot be a World Religion, at least 10% believers worldwide?? Still 6% despite of being 2nd oldest religion in the world after Hinduism. Islam being one of more new religions can get more than 3 times the Buddhist believers. Think Buddhist lay leaders and priests have been trying to use the religion to earn money upgrading their own wealth despite said all men are equal, looking like they are more "equal" than the members! You compare with other religions you find some of their priests are not so wealthy and earning much more than their believers, thus create impression the wealth and income gap between members and priests smaller.

Actually Shakyamuni or Gautama Buddha did not state believers to build luxurious big temples and gigantic Buddha statues to worship. It's all the greediness of later priests and believers because later on Buddhism had become state religions in India, China, Korea, Japan and Thailand, they receiving huge donations from Kings, Emperors and the state so they didn't know how to save or help the people, it became Buddhism trying to spend as much so to upgrade its status in society, hoping in this way could convert much more people in!!

In today's world of IT digital age, is it still necessary to gather in one spot, such as in a big temple or a big stadium to listen teachings?? Information is so easily available online Internet and Social Media, you even don't need to buy books and religious goods personally in a Buddhist bookshop, can order online and delivery send to you. If you do not understand the knowledge in the Buddhist books, could communicate with your leaders online or there are numerous info such as research essays by scholars, even YouTube, and library resources for you to clear your doubts. But by doing so, Buddhism probably will be destroyed as the headquarters and priests cannot receive donations from you, this will further weaken their financial situation. Maybe then Buddhism doesn't have capital to expand??

Up to you decide whether you should continue to approach leaders to clear your doubts or discuss Buddhism with them. But let you to realize two important facts of Buddhism, it should be depending on the Buddhist Law and not on the people. If you still think Buddhism must depend on the existing living people honored enough to teach Buddhism you are wrong!! At first in my beginning phase in practice I also thought should rely on my Buddhist leaders to guide me, but everyone told me different things, some even bullshits and tried to cover up the real truth. Finally I gained realization through reading. Second fact is enlightenment should be by self-practice your own, because only you yourself fully understand the problems and facts happening in your daily life, and sometimes things very difficult to express in words, maybe you express wrongly to your leaders, and so they would tell or guide you in the wrong ways, but you cannot blame them for your mistakes, it's you who believe in their wrong guidance in the first place!! You should stop doubting and start to believe in your own judgement, what should be the correct way??

Could give you one guidance, everything is going through trial and error, if not this way and wrong way, then should be that right way! Don't believe Shakyamuni or Gautama Buddha achieved his own enlightenment directly and smoothly straight-forward, he also gone through many trials and errors in his early meditations, then finally became enlightened to the ultimate universal truth. Failure's mother of success!! Who don't go through failures achieve final success?? So please stop believing in others, only yourself knows the road to the ultimate universal truth, if its so, you can practice by your own!!
